The fabulous Jessica Valenti’s first book – Full Frontal Feminism – is now available. I’ll be reviewing it on this website and for Lawyers, Guns & Money after finals are over.

In the meantime, check out Salon’s Rebecca Traister’s interview with Ms. V.

I’ll try getting a review up on 3QD before finals even start. Hopefully I’ll have time to write something by this Monday, because I suspect that around the Monday after it, when I’m supposed to write it, I’ll be swamped with take-homes.

Excuse the ignorance,but what’s 3QD?

Bean, 3QD is:
The first article should keep you very, very beezy.

Hm; i will have to add it to my daily reading. And very punny, Swampcracker. Alon, you are quite prolific!

The rule on 3QD is that on Mondays a host of people write original articles, while on all other days of the week the frontpagers link to articles on other websites, typically newspapers and magazines but occasionally also blog posts.

Generally I post there every other Monday. Once in a while I can’t – I think I won’t be able to in two weeks – but I’m going to try getting my review of Jessica’s book up anyway. Here’s hoping it’ll be good…

Our review is up of Full Frontal Feminism Check it.

Having finally read the book, I must say Feminist Review is too charitable.

I haven’t read it yet, and I withhold judgment til I have.
